Simple Division Using Arrays gives teachers a sequenced week of explicit instruction and practice for early division. Students build, read and turn arrays; identify rows, columns and totals; share collections into equal groups; write division facts; connect multiplication and division; solve simple word problems; and use arrays to find halves, quarters and eighths of collections.

The teaching presentation introduces each idea in small steps with worked examples and guided prompts.
