Fantastic Fives – Year 3

Click here to preview this resource
Fantastic Fives gives Year 3 teachers a coherent week of instruction and practice with multiples of five. Students explore equal groups, repeated addition, arrays, sharing, grouping, number patterns, fact families and inverse operations before applying their learning to fluency tasks, word problems and a two-page assessment.
The resource balances explicit teaching with visual, hands-on and written practice. A colourful facts display and two cut-apart reference cards support classroom explanation. Five Fact Flip and Roll and Solve provide multiplication and division game practice. Five two-page worksheet sets offer ten black-and-white student pages, each followed immediately by a direct matching answer page where meaningful. The final assessment includes two student pages, two answer pages and a five-level rubric.
The 13-slide presentation and 22-slide quiz use the locked Sukindi mathematics design with native editable PowerPoint text. The unit plan is supplied as both an editable PowerPoint and a 32-page PDF. A 67-page protected preview, one-slide editable thumbnail PowerPoint and high-quality clean Table of Contents JPEG support review and listing preparation.
