Full Description
Teach line and rotational symmetry through a carefully sequenced week of explicit instruction, practical exploration, independent practice and assessment. Students learn to use the fold test, identify and draw lines of symmetry, distinguish line symmetry from rotational symmetry, determine rotational order and smallest angle, and explain which properties remain invariant after reflections and rotations.
