Full Description
Preparing Oral Presentations gives Year 3 teachers a coherent sequence for moving students from an initial idea to a confident short presentation. Students identify purpose and audience, narrow a topic, build research questions, organise an opening and sequenced main points, choose precise vocabulary and useful visuals, create keyword palm cards, rehearse voice and body-language choices, respond respectfully, and reflect on specific feedback.
The unit combines an editable 20-slide teaching presentation, an editable 10-question quiz, colour display and hands-on materials, 11 named worksheet resources across 13 student pages, three matching answer pages, a two-page Mini Expert Talk assessment and a five-level marking rubric. Black-and-white practice and assessment pages are ready for economical classroom printing, while display, reference, activity and game materials are supplied in colour.
