Build confident statistical thinkers with a coherent Year 4 unit that takes students through the complete investigation cycle. Students learn to plan focused and fair survey questions, identify suitable participants and collection methods, collect categorical data, record tallies and frequencies, use digital tools where appropriate, choose and construct effective displays, compare distributions, describe shape and variation, and communicate conclusions supported by evidence.
