FULL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Develop secure area knowledge as Year 6 students work with rectangles, composite shapes, triangles, square units and hectares. Students also investigate the relationship between area and perimeter and apply their learning to classroom design, pixel-art and community-garden problems.
The unit combines editable PowerPoint teaching and quiz decks with a colour reference display, hands-on task cards, a classroom game, seven print-friendly worksheets, matching answers, an assessment and a marking rubric.
